This project in Scottsdale, AZ was a three-month transformation focused on elevating the home’s everyday living experience while working within existing constraints. The main living spaces were refined by softening oversized openings and removing heavy brown casing to create a more cohesive architectural flow, while a dated walk-down bar was replaced with a functional, design-forward storage feature with statement tile and a pop of color. In the kitchen, minimal changes made a meaningful impact by reorienting the island and updating finishes for a more modern feel. Additional updates included a redesigned fireplace, a refreshed bathroom with elevated tile and finishes, and a reimagined laundry space. Under our design direction, what began as a series of disconnected areas evolved into a cohesive Privado Village home that reflects modern desert living through thoughtful, intentional updates.

Working within our client’s budget, the kitchen was thoughtfully updated to deliver maximum impact without a full renovation. By maintaining the existing footprint, we focused on strategic changes such as reorienting the island to better support flow and refreshing key finishes to create a more cohesive feel. Fireplace Transformation

The original beehive fireplace was re-imagined into a clean, octagonal form, bringing a more tailored and modern presence to the living space. The transformation extended beyond the structure itself, with tile from the adjacent bar thoughtfully carried through to the fireplace floor, creating a seamless visual connection between spaces. This detail not only grounds the design but reinforces the cohesive, intentional flow seen throughout the home.
